
Background
Rioba is a long standing coffee brand distributed under the Makro retail group. Makro wanted to focus on repositioning the brand, as the supplier underwent a facelift to bring Rioba past the traditional cafe tables and restaurant establishment. Rioba is now heading to your coffee table!
Vision
We wanted to refresh the consumer’s memory that more often than not, they are drinking Rioba coffee at their local coffee house. Rioba clearly reached target audience, and would prompt instant brand recognition within the B2B market, however it is time to extent the market reach to B2C. The objective is to localize the communication with in-store communication, disply screens, and develop new brand awareness aimed at the B2C consumer within the Makro stores.
Solution
We utilised state of the art 3D animation to communicate the concept. Beginning with a story board, we fleshed out the best way to tell the brand’s story using unique graphic design. The target audience was women, who largely do the household grocery shopping, and we used graphics that spoke to this audience. Our team of experts developed an art direction plan to bring this brand to life with 3D design. Our B2B and B2C communication concept, strengthened by the digital display material, helped this brand step into the spotlight.
